I am also a senior lecturer and tutor at St Mary’s University College, Twickenham, where I teach on the CertHE and DipHE courses in Clinical Hypnotherapy.
Academic research background
My academic background began with a BSc (Hons) in Psychology and a research PhD in Psychology from the University of Birmingham. This research background has given me a strong interest in pursuing therapeutic approaches that reflect our growing understanding of how the brain and nervous system operate.
Hypnotherapy qualifications
I trained to the Advanced Level at the Brief Strategic Therapy Foundation, where I gained a Distinction with Merit on my final Certificate in Clinical Hypnotherapy. I subsequently became a Faculty member of the Brief Strategic Therapy Foundation as both a senior lecturer and supervisor.
